Once your your order is place hair to your specification is purchased from a donor. Your 50% Deposit is used to purchase hair and is non-refundable.
Black Label Line fees are paid before production starts. If you are on a payment plan we will begin production after the full total is received. Late payments and missed payments are subject to cancellation of order pushed to next waiting list.
Baby hairs/ flyaway hairs are included on all wigs and are 3"-4". Real baby hairs (5-10 years old) are also available from $500. Black Label wigs currently have a 3 year production time and only accepting waitlist members.
Please Note: Prices include all hair textures wig lengths from 1" to 16". Longer lengths are $100 per inch. Custom Colors are $200. Cut and Style $200. All wigs come with light regular baby hairs unless requested by customer to leave out.
PROPOSALS: Proposals (Bids) submitted in response to a call and/or email and are valid for up to 24 hours. You are welcomed to request another proposal after expiration however, fees may increase from original proposed request depending on availability. Proposals (Bids) are cash offers only. If payments are made in any other payment form (other than cash), 20% to 30% of the payment made may be added, depending on the bid offered.
2>CUSTOM WIG BASES
When seeking a wig base we normally don't offer, this base has to be developed. This includes but not limited to (extra thin or thicker) silicone, special effect wigs, co-op combination wigs using various materials. Custom wig base orders can take up to 28 months depending on raw materials.
Custom orders can take from 8-20 weeks, not including our more advance bases. Our production times are estimated, however can be extended depending on the hair texture because every human hair order is unique. We appreciate your patience if your order exceed the estimated production time.
3>CUSTOM RUSH ORDERS: (Not available for custom developed wig bases)
3 Weeks add 25% of wig price (i.e. If the wig cost $1,000 the rush fee is $250)
2 Weeks add 50% of wig price
4>WHOLESALE AND PRIVATE LABEL ORDERS:
WHOLESALE: Wholesale accounts are welcomed for a minimum order of 12 units a month. Non-sponsored members are required at least 6 month probation period before evaluation to become a member and offer our advance bases. Memberships are voted on by managers on a quarterly bases. Upon acceptance, the potential member(business) will be offered an invitation to join and applicable paperwork is requested.
PRIVATE LABEL: Minimum Order 100 Units of same wig base type; Choose 4 Hair Lengths, 4 Textures, 4 Hair Colors. (i.e. 25 Units of Hair color #1B, 16", Latin Wavy; 25 Units of Hair color #2, 18", Relaxed straight; 25 Units of Hair color #1B/#33, 22", Straight; 25 Units of Hair color Natural, 12", Loose Wavy = 100 Units)
You can order up to 20 samples at distribution prices and have up to 30 days to place private label order after samples are completed and delivered. If an order is not placed within the 30 days, you are billed additional wholesale fees if ordered over 12 samples or Retail Prices if less than 12 samples were completed and delivered. If an order is placed within 60 days we will deduct the additional wholesale or retail fee from the price total of order.
5>COMPLETED SYSTEMS: After your system is completed it is mailed to you with tracking and insurance. All instructions are included in the package with sample application tapes and glues if required. Though hairstyles are discussed during consultations if you do not request and order cutting and styling your system will arrive neatly packed and unstyled. Normally cutting and stylling fee is $200+ and is added on your invoice. Stylist who accompany and place orders for customer are contacted upon wig completion and systems can be mailed to stylist for final styling. If you find any problems with your system please contact us immediately. Three, Six or Twelve month warranties comes with our systems.
6>REFUND POLICIES: Returns must be received in original package with all sent including gift items for refunded items. Return RTN numbers should be written on the outside of original packaging. Refunds can take from 30 to 90 business days depending on refund type. If a refund is rewarded for custom unit, refunds are processed as they were received (i.e. if you leave a $500 deposit using your credit card we will refund $500 to the credit card used to leave your deposit. If you pay by cash, check or money order a check in the refund amount will be mailed to you.) Constructing a hairpiece can take anywhere from 60 to 400 hours or up to 8 months depending on the tier, hair and base materials used. 20%-50% restocking fee covers part of the expenses used to construct your hairpiece. Selling a restocked custom hairpiece is difficult. In most cases it will listed as a closeout item. Full refunds are sometimes offered if hairpiece can be resold at full price. We offer payment plans for medical wigs if not covered by medical insurance and to help make our systems more affordable. Orders are processed as soon as we receive deposit and completed over the time of agreed payment plan. If a customer wishes to push up payment plan and/or completion date, we should be notified at least 30 days in advance. International orders are mailed 10 business days after final payment is received. There are no refunds for payment plans. Payment plans are not offered for Black Label Line.
>HONOR SYSTEM PAYMENT PLANS:
We offer honor system/trust system payment plans to customers whom have established trust and honesty with Hairline Illusions. Payments are due on the dates established in the agreement and there is no grace period. Payments can fall on weekends and holidays. If there is some reason why you are going to be late with making your payment please contact us prior to due date so that we can make arrangements that will be mutually agreeable.
If you are unable to honor your payment plan please contact our office prior to payment due date to schedule a Deferred Payment Plan. Your payment is due on the date included on the invoice or agreed payment plan. Paying at a later date is considered late.
Honor Payment Plans: Late payments are subjected to 10% fee of the due payment amount. (i.e. if $100 is due your late fee is $10.) If your payment is 30 days late 10% interest fee is added of the full amount of the payment plan. (i.e. if your full payment plan is for $1,000 a $100 fee is added to your balance.)
Financing: Late payments are subjected to 10% fee and order production will pause until payment plan is honored. (i.e. if your order production fee is $2,600 a $260 charge is added to your balance.)
Payment Plans: If full payments are not received upfront you are on a payment plan. Order production will pause until payment plan is honored.
Classes: Class dates are are subjected to rescheduling for late payments. Late payments are subjected to 10% fee of the due payment amount. (i.e. if $100 is due your late fee is $10.) If your payment is 30 days late an additional 10% interest fee is added of the full amount of the payment plan. (i.e. if your full payment plan is for $1,000 a $100 fee is added to your balance.)

When properly adhered with special adhesives, the hairline gives the appearance of natural growing hair and can be parted all over and warn in high ponytails.
10>HOW LONG CAN A WEAR MY HAIRLINE ILLUSIONS™ LACE WIG?
Lace front wigs are used for theatrical purposes and shouldn't be worn longer than 3 days at a time. Our Matrix and Silicone units can be worn for up to 2 months. After extended wear, units must be removed to clean head and/or re-braid hair to reapply. We recommend removing and washing your hair at least twice a month. NOTE: Lace wigs should be professionally applied. Not recommended for first-time users.

Canceled classes will be subject to a 50% fee if canceled within 7 business days after initial deposit. Classes canceled 2 weeks prior to scheduled date can be rescheduled with no refund.
Immediately after your class is scheduled your instructor is hired and supplies are purchased. In some cases instructors are flown in to teach your class depending on the availability.
Students should practice at least 1 hour a day 5 days a week for 3-6 months to master trade and prepare for certitication test.
Certification Test: Students are required to past all test to receive certification. Students can retake certification tests 90 days if he/she doesn't past.
If you notice hairpiece with a manufacture defect, please contact us immediately and we will send you a Return Authorization Number and return form to include with your shipment back to us. We will not accept any returns without an Return Authorization Number. All items must be returned in original packaging along with all items mailed including invoice, instructions, application products, gifts, etc. if refund is requested. Our gifts of appreciation can cost up to $500 and are not free to keep for return refund orders. If gifts are returned used, the gift will be returned to customer and gift retail fee is deducted from refund.

Wigs will be exchanged or revised as long as they are in the original condition with all tags intact within 7 DAYS of receipt. If the wig has been worn or make-up on the bonnet or has been trimmed we CAN NOT exchange for sanitary reasons.
15>FRAUDULENT CHARGEBACK POLICY:
Hairline Illusions, LLC does not tolerate credit card fraud. No expense will be spared and all fraud, without exception, will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
The charge that will appear on YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT will be “HAIRLINE ILLUSIONS ” or “HAIRLINE.” If you place a chargeback with your credit card company (on purpose or by mistake) for any order that you placed and received, there will be a $75.00 research fee charged to your account upon receiving the chargeback by our merchant provider to cover our investigative expenses to prove that you did make the purchase. In addition, we will pursue civil legal action seeking any loss of income related to the fraud, including business, legal fees, research costs, employee down time and loss of revenues. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE - If you do not remember making the purchase - call the number on your statement next to the charge BEFORE calling your bank.
>FRAUDULENT CHARGES - STOLEN CREDIT CARD PURCHASES
We log IP strings on all orders - any orders coming back as a chargeback due to fraudulent activities will be diligently pursued through your local jurisdiction for prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. Hairline Illusions LLC (d.b.a. www.hairlineillusions.com) considers credit card charge backs to be fraud if you have made no reasonable effort to notify us by phone that a problem existed, or to resolve or clarify a situation or matter. All frivolous chargeback’s not only cost our employees time away from our usual and customary matters of conducting normal business, but cost us money. 2. Your own hair - Please separate hair into 6 ponytails. Hair should be cleaned and dried and placed in a Ziploc bag.

21>STEPS PREVENT SHEDDING AND TANGLING:
1) Wash base twice a month with base wash.
2) Never soak or wash wig in basin or sink. This soaking can loosen knots and cause shedding. Wash wig on head or wig stand.
3) Never brush our combs wig while hair is wet. Dry the knots before brushing hair. Brushing knots while the hair is wet will loosen the knots and cause shedding in the future.
4) Stay away from mineral oil based conditioners, shampoos and styling products.
5) Scratching the base can loosen the knots and cause shedding.
6) Excessive scrubbing during washing can loosen the knots and cause shedding.
7) Brushing with wig with paddle or hackle brushes can loosen the knots and cause shedding. Always use loop brushes or avoid knots when brushing.
8) Hard adhesives and the removal process can loosen the knots and cause shedding. Always use Super hold and remover or adhesive tape.
9) Excessive leave-in conditioners, mousses and holding sprays can loosen the knots and cause shedding. Less is best.
10) Processing the hair with chemicals can loosen the knots and cause shedding.
11) Never use TDI Knot Sealer. It can damage base fabric and cause shedding and rippling. Bleaching the knots will cause shedding. Relaxing and perming the hair can cause shedding. Over processing the hair will cause shedding.
12) Never blow-curl your hair. Always set on rollers or air dry.

23>DIFFERENT GRADES OF HUMAN HAIR
Our units made with Russian, African, Latin, Indian, Malaysian and Indonesian soft and bouncy 100% Human Virgin Hair from 1" to 65". We also offer "Organic Human Hair".
Human hair comes in many different textures and grades. The human hair must be strong and healthy to produce extensions that will last and wear without
tangling or drying. We use Grade A Virgin Human Hair cut from 1-2 donors depending on the density requested. Be Aware of resellers that use cheap factory wigs
with blends poor grades of hair and only cost under $50 to make that only last a few months. Our wigs TRULY last years.
There are four types of hair generally used in making human hair wigs: Chinese, Indian, Indonesian and Caucasian (European) hair. We use Malaysian, Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Caucasian (European) hair, African and Latin Human Hair! African and European hair is the least plentiful, and therefore it is very expensive to the point where the price can be prohibitive to the average wig wearer. Asian hair is the most plentiful and least expensive, but it can be of coarse texture. This texture is mostly suitable for wear by women of Asian or African descent, as it is generally similar in texture to their own.
>WHAT IS ORGANIC HUMAN HAIR?
Organic hair is purchased from vegan, vegetarians and donors whom eat an organic diet. The is virgin and has not been chemically processed in any way.
>WHAT IS ASIAN HAIR?
Indonesian hair is thinner and softer than Malaysian, Chinese or Indian. We use Indonesian Hair. Indonesian hair is very light and bouncy -- very similar to European Hair. Chinese hair is very thick and coarse -- We use coarse Chinese hair for our Relaxed Tier 3 wigs -- it should be noted here that not all processed Chinese hair is coarse. Sometimes a texturizing process is performed on the hair to reduce the diameter of each hair to make it more resemble European texture.
However, this involves a high degree of processing, decreasing the life of the wig.
>WHAT IS REMY HAIR?
Human hair collected directly from a hair donor is Remy Hair. It is sometimes referred to as Cuticle Hair, Virgin Hair and Cut Hair. The majority of human hair sold in the industry is non-cuticle hair. Using an acid-bath has stripped the hair cuticle. With Remy hair we do not do this so the hair cuticle is intact, therefore the hair is stronger. Manufacturers have long used Indian hair.
>WHAT IS EUROPEAN HAIR?
High quality human hair, which is harvested from a person of European or Caucasian ancestry. This type hair is used for custom made wigs because of the exceptional strength, quality and beauty, and is also used by manufacturers of high quality stock human hair wigs. European hair. European hair is very soft and silky, and is preferred by many Caucasian women because it resembles the texture of their own hair. However, in some cases, European hair can be too fine and limp to hold a style. While Indian hair is similar to European in texture on its own, without having to undergo the extra processing, it has more body and therefore is a better choice for making wigs. As an added benefit, Indian hair is much less expensive than European, and so this hair is very desirable by those who prefer a more silky textured human hair wig, without the high price of European.
>WHAT IS AFRICAN HAIR?
Very Rare! African high quality human hair, which is harvested from a person of African ancestry. This type hair is used for our custom made wigs because of the exceptional strength, quality and beauty.
>WHAT IS LATIN HAIR?
Donors of Latin hair reside in Brazil and Dominican Republic. Latin hair curl texture rages from 4.5cm to approximately 3cm. absolutely stunning.
24>TIPS ON FILLING YOUR INSURANCE CLAIMS FOR CLIENTS WITH MEDICALLY RELATED HAIR LOSS.
MEDICAL WIGS | FULL LACE FRONT WIGS | VACUUM WIGS
When a person requires a "CRANIAL HAIR PROSTHESIS" (medical wig) while undergoing cancer-related therapy or have been diagnose with Alopecia, they may be eligible for reimbursement under their health insurance plan. Most insurance companies will cover from 80% to 100 % of a cranial prosthesis. Follow these guidelines to file your claim to the insurance company: 1) First, check the ‘Benefit Booklet’ given you by your insurance carrier. This lists in detail all of the covered expenses under your particular plan. Look for the section under ‘Covered Expenses’ relating to ‘prosthesis’ or ‘prosthetic devices.’ Or you can contact your insurance carrier to ask about coverage for to ‘prosthesis’ or ‘prosthetic devices’. 2) Obtain a written "PRESCRIPTION" for "CRANIAL HAIR PROSTHESIS". On an actual prescription form. Also, request a detailed letter from your doctor explaining the extent of your hair loss and the mental distress you have experienced due to your medical treatment. Ask your doctor to use the words ‘cranial prosthesis’ as it is considered a medically necessary item. A brief letter from a psychiatrist or psychologist may also be beneficial, if available.3) Take some pictures of yourself without your hair. This will immediately show that your claim is not for cosmetic purposes.4) Notify us about your medical need for alternative hair and we will also send you a receipt for a cranial prosthesis.5) Send your sales receipts for your cranial prosthesis along with prescription, photos and letters from doctors.
1. Make sure to also include a letter - detail the emotional effects that alopecia areata or your medical treatment has had on your life. Discuss the financial aspects of frequent wig purchases. Advice that a cranial prosthesis is just as medically necessary as a prosthetic limb or breast: it replaces a missing body part hair. Explain the benefits of purchasing this type of prostheses (it is made to order, more security, more natural, etc.). Explain that although the initial cost of a custom prostheses is higher, it will also last several years, thereby being a cost-effective item. If your employer is aware of your alopecia areata or medical treatment, ask him/her to write a letter explaining the importance of having hair on your job. The following companies have covered cranial prostheses, at least in part; however, each carrier operates differently in each state.
2. If your insurance company denies insurance coverage, you can appeal by sending a letter to the claims department supervisor; ask to be reviewed by a medical review board and a written statement as to why the claim was denied. In a few weeks depending on desired base, your wig will be totally hand-made to your own head measurements, One to three hairs at a time, in order to achieve the best results.

27>CAN I USE MY OWN HAIR TO MAKE A CUSTOM WIG?
Sure. If you are a cancer patient and would like to use your own hair before hair loss, send us your neatly stored ponytail in a Ziploc bag. If you have suffered from hair loss and your ponytail is too thin – we can match your texture to finish the unit. See "SUPPLYING YOUR OWN HAIR" below.
28>WILL MY WIG COME ALREADY CUT AND STYLED?
We strongly believe that the best way to cut your system is while it is on your head. Your system will come with light layers.
Keep your wig on a wig stand or wig storage box when you are not wearing it. This will air out your wig nicely and not stretch out the cap. It's also a great tool on which to air dry your wig after it's been washed. Only keep the wig on a Styrofoam head or head block long enough to style it. You can keep your wig on the heads
- just don't pull the wig pulled all the way down on the heads. After you finish styling, just lift up the wig so that it's not completely on the head, just resting on the head. If you done have a wig stand use a large zip lock bag.

31>HOW TO APPLY OUR LACE UNIT?
Cornrow your hair and treat your scalp with ROOT Fuel®. Use ROOT Fuel® to prevent itching for extended use. Gently apply adhesive to the skin in front and back lace area only and put wig on. Hold down the lace to the skin and count to 20 until the adhesive is dried. You will get more information about applying systems with your order.
32>HOW TO REMOVE ADHESIVE RESIDUE FROM THE LACE MATERIAL?
Spray some Adhesive Remover or equivalent oil based solvent where needed. Wait a few minutes.
Push the bottom of the lace firmly against a mirror and slide the unit down the glass. The glue gets pulled out from the lace and deposits itself on the glass.
33>GLUE IN THE HAIR?
Spray some Adhesive Remover or equivalent oil based solvent where needed. Wait a few minutes. Using a fine toothcomb; gently comb and wipe away residue.
34>HOW TO WASH THE WIG AND LACE?
Spray some Adhesive Remover to loosen up the glue and gently remove the glue off the unit.
Dampen the hair under a water facet.
(Using a 50/50 percent shampoo and water mixture in a spray bottle.) DO NOT SCRUB THE UNIT.
Spray the mixture onto the unit and let it remain for up to 15 minutes.
Rinse the mixture from the unit.

Spray the mixture onto the unit, but do not rinse out.
Comb out and style the hair as desired.
The technique used in tying or knotting hair by hand into the cap of a wig or toupee to simulate the look of growing hair. A fully hand tied wig requires 60-90 hours of labor to complete, which explains the cost of this type of wig.

We offer Extensions, Lace Front and Wig repair training course for professional people or any talented individual interested in a wig career. A professional experienced instructor that will demonstrate “hands-on” repairs on actual wigs teaches the Courses. At the end of the Course you will have all the skills, tools, and knowledge necessary to open your business.

39>CLASS REGISTRATION & POLICIES
Registrants should be 18 years and older with a high school diploma or GED. You may register by clicking here to complete our registration form. A Hairline Illusions™ Customer Care Agent will soon call you to confirm, so please have your payment ready. You can also register for a course by calling our toll free number (866) 777-7567. We accept all major credit cards, bank wires, checks, western union, moneygram and cash.
Early registration is highly advised since classes are filled on a "first come first served" basis. Early registrations are posted on our web site if a class isn't nearly sold out 12 months in advanced. Classes are usually limited to 4 students per instructor. Private classes are one-on-one with 1 student per instructor. Semi-Private classes are 2 students from same company per instructor.
Classes taught on location that requires machinery requires 220V electrical outlets.
Your seat is confirmed when your deposit is received and guaranteed when full balance payment is received (10) business days prior to the start date of the workshop and/or final payment stated on invoice. Students who have not paid in full cannot be admitted to the classroom. Deposits are transferable to future class date within the same calendar year. Balances are divided into monthly payment plan, your credit card on file is charged upon invoice received via email and/or fax.
We accept all major credit cards, bank wires in registrant’s name.
Payments are due on the 1st and 15th of every month or agreed payment dates. If the payment date falls on a major holiday we must receive the payment on the business day prior to agreed payment plan date. Late payments are subjected to 10% fee or class cancellation and rescheduling to future date.
Honor System Payment Plan (One must meet eligibility criteria.)
The Honor System Payment Plan allows customers to pay after receiving goods, class or service. Plans can last up to 12 months without interest as long as the customer pays on time or prior to the agreed payment plan due date.
If a customer is late with a agreed payment, the payment plan can be canceled without notice and the balance in full will be due a minimum of 2 weeks prior to receiving class. Late payments are also subjected to class cancellation and rescheduling to future date.
A confirmation email is sent after deposit payment including instructors contact information, near by hotels directions and class information. If you do not receive this information please call us at (866) 777-7567.
You may reschedule a class ten (10) business days in advance of the start date of the class at no extra charge. Cancellations made within ten (10) business days of the starting date of the class are subject to a 50% fee and / or a 25% fee for rescheduling. Immediately after your class is scheduled your instructor is hired and supplies are purchased. In some cases instructors are flown in to teach your class depending on the availability. Deposits are nonrefundable. All course materials will be delivered at the beginning of the class.
Hairline Illusions™ reserves the right to postpone or reschedule or even cancel any course should state of affairs make it necessary. If this unlikelihood occurs, advance notice will be sent and full credit will be applied to the next regularly scheduled course offering. Hairline Illusions™ is not responsible for travel or accommodation charges in the event of any schedule change.
We encourage members to take advantage of our refresher programs to broaden their skills in this diverse and ever-changing trade. Certified professionals are required to attend our Refresher Classes when posted for re-certification. APP Certifications can take up to 90 days; MED Certifications can take from 180 days depending on completed qualifications; WS Certifications can take from 365 days depending on passed exams. Homework Assignments & Lessons
After you complete your hands-on Class at our facility or Skype Course you are given lesson plans. You are give homework assignments with completion dates. Depending on the class you attend, manuals are given to you after you complete your first homework lesson plan along with all supplies from your class. Instructors prefer you to solely concentrate on the first lesson plan and your supplies for your first lesson plan will be given to you for you to take home and complete your lesson. Your instructor may want to include additional information in your manual pertaining to the individual student which is called a Individualized Manual. The Individualized Manual will include an action plan for the student along with personalized tips to master their trade.
