CLASS REGISTRATION & POLICIES

Class Registration
Full courses will be held at SUNY and/or Beauty School campuses. Registrants should be 18 years and older with a high school diploma or GED. You may register by clicking here to complete our registration form.  A Hairline Illusions™ Customer Care Agent will soon call you to confirm, so please have your payment ready. You can also register for a course by calling our toll free number (866) 777-7567. We accept all major credit cards, bank wires, checks, western union, moneygram and cash.

A $150 application fee and $1,500 deposit are due at registration for full term (12 or 16 week) classes and are non refundable.  For Accelerated Training Courses that cost less than $1,000 full payment is required at registration.

Early registration is highly advised since classes are filled on a "first come first served" basis. Early registrations are posted on our web site if a class isn't nearly sold out 12 months in advanced. Classes are usually limited to 4 students per instructor. Private classes are one-on-one with 1 student per instructor. Semi-Private classes are 2 students from same company per instructor.

Classes taught on location that requires machinery requires 220V electrical outlets.

Privacy
Classes taught are for authorized attendies only. They may contain proprietary material, confidential information and/or be subject to legal privilege. Classes should not be copied, disclosed to, retained or used by, any other party.

Payment
Your seat is confirmed when your deposit is received and guaranteed when full balance payment is received (10) business days prior to the start date of the workshop and/or final payment stated on invoice. Students who have not paid in full cannot be admitted to the classroom. Deposits are transferable to future class date within the same calendar year. Balances are divided into monthly payment plan, your credit card on file is charged upon invoice received via email and/or fax. * DEPOSIT & PAYMENT METHODS: Check, Western Union, Money Gram, Money Order, Cash, Credit Card *FEES: There is a 4% Paypal Processing Fee and/or 2% Credit Card Convenience Fee. Taxes are not included in the fees listed.
We accept all major credit cards, bank wires in registrant’s name.

Payment Plans
Payments are due on weekly, bi-weekly or the 1st and 15th of every month or agreed payment dates. If the payment date falls on a major holiday we must receive the payment on the business day prior to agreed payment plan date. Late payments are subjected to 10% fee or class cancellation and rescheduling to future date. If you have registered for a class and paid (either a deposit or in full) If you cancel/reshedule your class and seize your payments your deposits are scheduled for the next available class.

Early-Bird Special Payment Plans: Late payments for Early-Bird Special Payment Plans are subjected to full class fee charge(i.e. if early-bird special is $2,995 and regular class fee is $4,995 your earl-bird special can be cancelled and you have to pay full class fee.), class cancellation and rescheduling to future date.

Honor System Payment Plan (One must meet eligibility criteria.)
The Honor System Payment Plan allows customers to pay after receiving goods, class or service.  Plans can last up to 12 months without interest as long as the customer pays on time or prior to the agreed payment plan due date.

If a customer is late with a agreed payment, the payment plan can be canceled without notice and the balance in full will be due a minimum of 2 weeks prior to receiving class. Late payments are also subjected to class cancellation and rescheduling to future date.

Stand-By List
Our maximum class size is 4 students per instructor for For Accelerated Training Courses. If you register after the class maximum has been met, we will hold your deposit and put you on a wait list. If a spot opens up, we will cash your deposit, and let you know that the rest of your payment is due.

Confirmation
A confirmation email is sent after deposit payment including instructors contact information, near by hotels directions and class information.  If you do not receive this information please call us at (866) 777-7567.

Cancellation
You may reschedule a class ten (10) business days in advance of the start date of the class at no extra charge. Cancellations made within ten (10) business days of the starting date of the class are subject to a 50% fee and / or a 25% fee for rescheduling. Immediately after your class is scheduled your instructor is hired and supplies are purchased. In some cases instructors are flown in to teach your class depending on the availability. Deposits are nonrefundable. All course materials will be delivered at the beginning of the class.

Refunds

Chargeback Policy
The charge that will appear on your credit card statement will be “PAYPAL *HLI”, “HAIRLINE ILLUSIONS” or “KENLAW”. If you place a chargeback with your credit card company (on purpose or by mistake) for any order that you placed and received, there will be a $500.00 research fee charged to your account upon receiving the chargeback by our merchant provider to cover our investigative expenses to prove that you did make the purchase.

Hairline Illusions does not tolerate credit card fraud, and all fraud, without exception, will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. In addition, we will pursue civil legal action seeking any loss of income related to the fraud, including business, legal fees, research costs, employee down time and loss of revenues.

Hairline Illusions considers credit card charge backs to be fraud if you have made no reasonable effort to work with us to resolve any problems with your purchase. All frivolous chargebacks not only cost our employees time away from our usual and customary matters of conducting normal business, but cost us money, therefore: You agree to the terms above.

Note: If you file a chargeback after attending our class, you agree the chargeback is credit card fraud because services have been rendered for charges.
Stolen Credit Card Purchases: We log IP strings on all orders - any orders coming back as a chargeback due to fraudulent activities will be diligently pursued through your local jurisdiction for prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.

Schedule Change
Hairline Illusions™ reserves the right to postpone or reschedule or even cancel any course should state of affairs make it necessary.  If this unlikelihood occurs, advance notice will be sent and full credit will be applied to the next regularly scheduled course offering. Hairline Illusions™ is not responsible for travel or accommodation charges in the event of any schedule change.

Certification
We encourage members to take advantage of our refresher programs to broaden their skills in this diverse and ever-changing trade. Certified professionals are required to attend our Refresher Classes when posted for re-certification. APP Certifications can take up to 90 days; MED Certifications can take from 180 days depending on completed qualifications; WS Certifications can take from 365 days depending on passed exams.  Retests are given 180 days after initial exam. Homework Assignments & Lessons
After you complete your hands-on Class at our facility or Skype Course you are given lesson plans. You are give homework assignments with completion dates. Depending on the class you attend, manuals are given to you after you complete your first lesson plan along with all supplies from your class. Instructors prefer you to solely concentrate on the first lesson plan and your supplies for your first lesson plan will be given to you for you to take home and complete your lesson. Your instructor may want to include additional information in your manual pertaining to the individual student which is called a Individualized Manual. The Individualized Manual will include an action plan for the student along with personalized tips to master their trade.

Full Term Classes: In addition to tuition, materials fee may be charged for classes that involve wig production and base building take home projects. Materials fees are due along with the remainder of tuition 2 weeks before the class start date.

Waiver Of Liability
While Hairline Illusions is a safety-conscious organization and safety instruction is part of every class, it is impossible to eliminate the risks that accompany the use of certain chemicals, tools, equipment, and materials. By participating in Hairline Illusions course activities you assume responsibility for the inherent risks involved. It is incumbent on every student to participate in the safety training that is part of their class. It is also individuals’ responsibility to make sure they understand safe practices and the risks involved before using any tool, machine, or material. Students will be asked to sign a voluntary stating that they understand their responsibility in this regard.

Student Referrals
After you complete your certification by passing all test Hairline Illusions can refer customers to you. Referrals allows us to promote your services to new customers in your area.

 

Holiday Schedule
Hairline Illusions will be closed for classes on the following dates:
Memorial Day
Independence Day: July 4 and 5
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day: December 24 to 28
New Year's Day: December 31 - January 2, 2011

August is Hairline Illusions vacation month. Although we still take orders during this time orders and repairs begin in September.
